A cohort-based leadership program for the next generation of Los Angeles education advocates — young people who are ready to understand, engage, and shape the system.
The LA Leads! experience
Program length
A 10–11 month fellowship. GPSN has run LA Leads! since 2023; the 2026 group is the fourth cohort.
Cohort size
Approximately 10–15 fellows per cohort. Across four cohorts since 2023, 48 LA education leaders have taken part.
Activities & sessions
Collaborative learning sessions with a cohort of LA education leaders, plus mentorship from Mónica García, former LAUSD Board President and GPSN Senior Advisor.
